My Review of The Strangers

Okay, I was definitely impressed with The Strangers. It was very creepy and kept you on the edge of your seat. It reminded me of the movie Halloween (the original) even though Halloween is superior by far, but still The Strangers kept my attention and I am anxiously waiting for the sequel. If you don't know what the movie is about, it is about a couple, Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman, who, while staying in a family home out in what seems like the boonies, barricade themselves after being tormented by three people wearing masks, the masks by the way were way cool. The torment lasts until the morning when the killers decide to end the torment. If you haven't seen it and you are a horror movie buff, I recommend you rent or buy this movie. definitely 10 out of 10 stars! A must see!

Time To Write about Something Serious......

In April of 2009, my mother will have been gone for three years. I am not going to write a long, drawn out bunch of words that sound impressive. She was and still is my mom, and I miss her dearly. I remember that we had a big tree in the middle of our yard when I was growing up and when I hit my teenage years, my mom and I would sit and talk, just about anything, even the things that maybe( as a guy ) you shouldn't discuss with your mother, but I did anyway and I am glad that I did. Having a child puts a lot of things that you think about into perspective. I am sad that my mom didn't live long enough to see Shannon as she is now, she would be very proud of her and its also sad to see your daughter start to forget but thankfully there are a few things that Shannon does remember about her grandma and that makes me happy! My heart has been heavy for the past two and a half years, not just about mom but other things as well. I wish that I had her here to talk, just to talk.
